Vijūnėlė Park
Vijūnėlė Park is a great place for relaxation, as it surrounds the Druskonis and Vijūnėlė Lakes. Reconstructed in 2011, the park’s beauty attracts both locals and guests, and is the perfect place for relaxation. Among the most impressive sites, there are over 200,000 narcissi that bloom in the early spring. A pathway between the Druskonis and Vijūnėlė Lakes is named after the Druskininkai honorary citizen, Dr Bronislavas Lubys. On the new walking paths, visitors can enjoy the sakuras and romantic lighting. The surroundings are decorated by a small architectural element – a sculpture of fighting sheep. Vijūnėlė Park has become one of the most popular places for leisure activities in the resort.
