Squirrel Liusė (Lucy)

The sculpture commemorates a squirrel named Lucy, who lived in the spruce grove in Jaunimo parkas (Youth Park). She would respond when called by name, was quite fearless, and readily took nuts from a person’s outstretched hand. Sadly, Lucy passed away in the summer of 2020.
