Kivakalnis

Kivakalnis is also known as “Witches ‘Hill”, according to legends, witches’ gatherings took place here. It is one of the highest hills of moraine massifs in Žagariai, formed by the last glacier in 13-15 thousand years. The steepest slope of Kivakalnis is even 14 meters. It is said that witches ran down the hill even from Kiev, so the hill is called Kievakalnis.
