Buniškiai Mound with settlement

The mound is located on a separate hill. The site is oval, elongated in a north-east-south-west direction, 18×9 m in size. On the north-eastern, south-eastern and south-western slopes, 1-1,5 m below the site, there is a terrace 2-2,5 m wide. The slopes are moderately steep, 11 m high. The mound is covered with ploughs and pits, and covered with pine trees. On the northern and north-western slopes, on an area of 0,5 ha, there is a settlement of the foothills, where coarse pottery was found. The mound dates back to the 1st millennium.
