Žvali pirtis (Sauna)

Located near Alytus, you are invited to get acquainted with the culture of the sauna and the traditions of the Lithuanian sauna. During the programs, one breathes in reeds, medicinal herbs, and various plants, the body is scrubbed and fed with salt, coffee, chocolate, honey, hemp and other natural products. Sauna programs use shingles, which the owner of the sauna, Renatas Žvaliauskas, ties only from tree branches harvested in the forests and meadows of Dzūkija, and medicinal herbs collected. In the sauna, you can try more than 30 different shingles, which are tied from dozens of different plants.
