Traditional candle making education “Wax mare with flax tail” in Rudamina craft center

Education participants will get to know one of the oldest crafts – candle casting. Participants of the educational program get to know bee products, learn how candles were cast in ancient times, how wax is prepared, what threads are used to make a wick, and they themselves cast candles. Riddles about a lamp, a candle, other light-emitting devices are told, and the customs of Vēlini, Grabnyči are told.
