Aštrioji Kirsna Manor Stud Farm

The renovated stables of the manor house are used for breeding horses and visitors can go horse riding by booking in advance on the Aštrioji Kirsna Manor Stables Facebook page or by phone.

Cars are not allowed on the estate grounds and must be left at the gates, which are partially closed, but there is a passage for people.

STALL RENTAL FOR HORSES | With the possibility to train privately

Stables – restored historic, cosy, constantly ventilated, with saddling areas, bathing, saddlery.
Stalls – cleaned daily by the stable keeper, with automatic waterers, sliding doors, straw loads.
The stable is spacious, with a maximum of 1-2 riders at a time.
Possibility for a horse to spend the day in a levée (with a few peaceful horses or separate).
Feed: hay/haylage, oats.
Feeding of vitamins left by you, application of muzzles, etc.
You can arrange vet, dentist, osteopath and chiropractor services together as required.
The stables are located in the exclusive, permanently maintained grounds of the estate. The grounds are private and very quiet, so you will meet few people – an advantage especially during quarantine.
The horses are looked after by Sonata Baršketytė, a long-time horse trainer and enthusiast who lives on the premises.
You can learn to ride your own horse from the ground up, practice conquest, exceptional bareback or cordeo riding.
If you don’t have a vehicle to bring your horse to us, we can take care of that.

Those who know our trainer, Sonata, know that she has a special attitude and love for horses. Sonata specialises in training horses with difficult characters, horses with health problems and correcting the habits of riders, paying special attention to the horse’s anatomy and movement.

So we especially want to draw the attention of riders who have a particular problem with their horse or want to try a different way of training. Also, we accept horses for rehabilitation after injuries.
