Druskininkėliai Mound with settlement
The mound is located on a separate hill without fortifications; at its foot there are shards of coarse pottery, flint and rubble. The site is oval, elongated in a north-south direction, 22×14 m in size, with a centre up to 1 m high. On the southern slope, 1,5 m below the site, there is a terrace 10 m wide, sloping southwards by 1,5 m. The slopes are moderately steep, 10-11 m high. The mound is heavily buried by ploughs and pits. The site is arable and the slopes are covered with pine trees. On the southern slope of the mound, on an area of 0,4 ha, there is a settlement of the foothills, where smooth and coarse pottery has been found.
