Place of Lithuanian partisan fighting and death (Dubravai village)

Partisans of Dainava district Šarūnas team fought and died in this place – platoon leader Juozas Marčiulionis Butageidis, Pakalnis and Algirdas Lisauskas Žvalgas (he was only 18 years old). The fighters died on February 26, 1948 near the Nemunas, issued for money. Their remains were buried in the courtyard of the Seiriai NKVD headquarters and found in the summer of 1995.

After research on the remains in 1996. On August 23, the partisans were honorably buried in the Seirijai partisan burial place in the Seirijai cemetery.
