Museum of Merkine Region

In the museum you will be introduced to the history of Merkine, life of people of Dzukija, trade of people of Merkine, black ceramics, and the Jewish life in Merkine. One of the most valuable exhibits is a bell found by J. Delamarsas in Vilnius for Merkine hall in 1670. Exhibition of Soviet symbolism from the books, flags of the communist propaganda as well as bas-reliefs of Soviet ideologists is also an interesting.
