The Room of the writer Jurgis Kunčinas

Jurgis Kunčinas, one of the most outstanding Lithuanian writers, was born and brought up in Alytus. In 2006, in the library named after this author, a Memorial Room was opened to honour the writer. Numerous documents are stored in this Room, handwritten and printed, – letters, drawings, satirical publications, various publications from periodicals about the writer and his works, not only in Lithuanian but also in foreign (English, German, French, Latvian, Polish and Russian) languages.
