Tree Cakes (Šakočiai) Museum

What is the difference between Lithuanian tree cake and baumkuchen? What tree cakes did our ancestors used to bake in the Stone Age? What was the favourite dessert of the legendary Duchess Barbora Radvilaitė? You can find the answers to these and more questions while spending a great time in our restaurant – the bakery ROMNESA. This is the only place in Lithuania, where you can taste a tree cake baked by yourself, using real Lithuanian products, in real flame. Although the result is always great, because the guest are helped by friendly bakers, at least 2 additional types of the traditional baked treats are served for tasting.
