Ūdininkai Mound
The mound is located on a separate hill in the Uidė valley. The site is oval, elongated in the south-north direction, 12×10 m in size. Most of it has been destroyed by quarrying, leaving only the eastern side, which is 2-3.5 m wide. The slopes are moderately steep, 5 m high. In 2001, the specialists of the Cultural Heritage Centre carried out exploratory research and, based on the research and findings, identified the mound as an ancient settlement. The mound dates back to the Stone Age. During the archaeological investigations, a flint lobe was found in the territory of the settlement, which is currently stored in the National Museum of Lithuania. The area of the ancient settlement of Ūdininkai is 0,52 ha.
