If you haven’t swum the Ūla between Zervynai and Mančiagirė, where it crosses the mainland dune massif, you might say you haven’t swum the Ūla at all. The river’s easy squeeze into the sand dunes has created a narrow canyon-like valley, with breathtaking views at almost every turn. If you are afraid of water, the best way to reach the outcrops on foot is on the right bank of the Ūla River, along the trail that winds from Mančiagirė to Zervynas. Once you have completed the journey, you will know what it means to get tired of beauty.
