Lavender field

Breathe in the clean and fresh air of the Lazdijai region. If you want to see and smell something unusual, take a walk through the lavender fields of Kurdimaksčiai and breathe in the fragrant air.

In July, the Lavender Festival is organised and attracts not only locals but also many travellers from all over Lithuania. Last year’s Lavender Festival featured sales of lavender seedlings, live lavender bouquets, lavender scented sachets, hydrolats, creams, essential oils and lavender sweets. There were grills, ice cream and even lavender lemonade. Lazdijai horse-riders also joined the Lavender Festival by offering carriage rides around the village. Local entrepreneurs also offer a wide range of products, from jewellery, ceramics and natural handmade soaps, to bread and cakes, honey, honeycomb, popcorn and croissants. There is a swing for children and a trampoline for children. And there’s also a raffle! We hope to see you at the Lavender Festival again this year!
