“Embroidered postcard” in Lazdijai cultural center

Simeography is embroidery on paper. The name comes from the two words “symmetry” and “graphics”. However, the technique of performing simegraphy is simple: threads are stretched between holes punched in rigid paper and their threads are stretched. Symmetrically interlaced threads form square, semicircular shapes, you can unexpectedly discover the most diverse variants. Simeography works are very interesting and beautiful. During the educational program, you can embroider a postcard, an invitation, a book folder, a tab or a picture.
