Sculpture for Sigitas Geda

To commemorate the work of Sigitas Geda and to celebrate the 80th anniversary of his birth, a sculpture by K. Musteikis, “Bird – Man”, was erected in his hometown of Veisėiai on 26 May 2023.

The sculpture was created in the Veisėiai Park within the framework of the project “Making Sigitas Geda’s work meaningful in the Veisėiai region”.

The project leader is Eglė Kubilienė.

The project is funded by the Lithuanian Council for Culture and Lazdijai District Municipality.
